Today I hit the pinnacle of my social life.
I now have 101 friends on Facebook.
Imagine that! Lil' ole' me, socially inept, perpetual wallflower, third-wheel extraordinaire -- has hit the magical three-digit mark. Of course, people who are truly cool will quickly meet and exceed my meager statistic, if they haven't already. (And if you are a generation or two younger than me, the popularity bar is much higher -- somewhere in the mid-500s.)
But for a moment, let's just pretend that I'm popular.

That makes me laugh. I was excited when I hit the 100 mark too. The funny thing is that most of my "friends" are former students. hmmmmmmm maybe I'm just shooting for numbers here :-)
Someday I may be that popular too. :)
Was that song from "Wicked" ?
Oh, I must not be popular because I do not even belong, oh well!
So I have had feelings of deep inadequacy when I see other people's facebook friends count. So, thank you for, once again, making me feel totally inept. ;O}. I love Wicked. I saw it a few months ago in LA. My kids are dying to see it but man it's expensive. Maybe you could popularize me someday.
I just loved that clip. We all love the songs from Wicked. And, I also love that Kristen girl - from "Pushing Daisies". Oh - and I think it's hilarious how so many young people I know have over 400 "friends" on their FB. I don't think I even know that many people!
I'm with Amanda... If I don't have a Facebook account does that mean I'm not popular at all? Something to consider as I procrastinate.
Where is e-Glinda when I need her?
